Description

The 21st Century is rocking the classical world with music that takes inspiration from previous eras and multiple cultures. Philip Glass wrote for a Baroque instrument and a Haydn-sized orchestra, all in a new modern language! Max Wolpert is writing a work that pays homage to Scottish, Jewish, and Welsh fiddle players from the Baroque era, while in the Haydn symphony, we explore the source of modern symphonic music.
